The old is represented by the fantastic decision to add a "Classic" mode that allows the player to play the game the way it was originally intended to be played. In the classic mode, the gamer gets an opportunity to move through different aspects of the season in a more efficient manner. The classic mode also represents a better option for novice managers giving them the opportunity to get their feet wet before they jump into the deep end of the pool.
As with prior versions, Football-Manager-2013 has added more depth and more aspects to consider in managing the team through both the off-season and during games. Sports Interactive has addressed new aspects of managerial responsibilities by adding the ability to design training regimens for individual players or different ways to handle press conferences.
